Haven't been to Palestine in a while and was surprised at the amount of scum/algae at the ramp. Have only been fishing the lake for 6 years but it was the worst I've ever seen it. Wondering if this is normal and if it hurts the fishing. Over the years I have seen it that way quite a bit. Not every year but most especially the North end and sometimes Flat Creek as well. I have never known it to hurt the fishing any, other than limiting what baits you used.

Over the years I have seen it that way quite a bit. Not every year but most especially the North end and sometimes Flat Creek as well. I have never known it to hurt the fishing any, other than limiting what baits you used.

I live in flat creek and this is the worst i have seen in the five years that i have been here. doesnt seem to hurt the fishing any but it is good for a frog bite early or weightless worm on top
