Went to the lake yesterday spot lock worked as it should. Went today and it would not run with the remote, i tried the foot pedal and the spot lock button would come on like it was working but it would not move the boat. about a month ago I had to put it in the shop and replaced the board and the turning motor. I took the GSP part lose and turned the head and the motor turned. so the GPS seemed to work. using the foot pedal everything worked except the spot lock. The remote would not show anything. I replaced the battery and still nothing. Any input is appreciated.

well, I took the remote apart. Everything looks good, no burns. I manually held the battery in place and nothing happened. I then took a file and lightly files the ground and the hot part and put the battery back and it seemed to work. I did spot lock in my driveway and it seemed to work. I then moved the trailer and it turned and speed up the motor. I am going back to the lake in the morning, cross my fingers!

Not sure which remote you have but I have had one get loose in the battery compartment. I stuck a piece of paper in there careful to not block contacts and the added pressure got it to working again.
