Does anyone know of a site where the wave size is listed for Lake Tawakoni? I'm planning to fish the Holiday Humps from a kayak later today but I'm concerned about the roughness of the water. Thanks! BTW...if anyone is fishing the Humps late this afternoon stop by and say hi...green kayak, orange hat.

No idea where you could get wave size. I frequently look at this site for wind. Its usually pretty accurate however you can add 5 to 8 mph for Tawakoni.
Terrell is the closest reporting site.

Wave size on the humps is totally dependent not only on wind speed but direction. A SW wind even gusting up to 20 is not bad. A north wind is a whole different story. Sunday morning we had a SW wind that was really gusty. I would stay a pretty steady 15 and gusts of at least 20. but since it was SW it was not bad wave wise on the humps. An east to SE wind and the humps will be rocking but nothing like a north wind. I would get on NOAA and check local conditions for the closest reporting station. Maybe WIlls Point but might have to settle for Greenville.

I use the windfinder app. It's typically right on the money.
