And day pay is the way to go

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

2 years wouldn't buy you much house or start much business.

I talked with a guy today who works over there in the oil boom. He builds the tanks and said he makes 2600$ a week but works 6 days a week and usually 70 hours. Ouch not very good moneybfor that amount of time

Perhaps not but it's 10 grand a month.

Most people can't do that.

I'm not sure your thought process will lead to much success.

I think you missed the part where the guys doing these types of jobs are not what most would consider cream of the crop. If it wasnt for these oil field jobs theyd be working at McDonalds. So yeah, $100k is damn good, even if they are working 70 hours.

My thought as well. Quick math says thats less than $20 an hour. And if you are getting to that 100k including an OT rate then its more like less than $15 an hour base.

But hey... do it for a year and you can buy a big truck! Then be broke again and it dries up again.

I just sold a truck Friday to a kid that's a welder. 25 years old, from Cali, made 233k last year. It's crazy. He did say his 1 bed room apt in Midland was 2k per month and it's a dump.
