Hard to say without a good view of the girth. I've caught a 26" fish that was an emaciated 7lbs. Yours looks to be a bit healthier, though... 8.5-10lbs. ??

Pure guesses by everybody. Very subjective when trying to guess weight off a picture. Call it what you want! This is not subjective: its a great fish!

26 1/4 inches at 100% relative weight would be 11.44 lbs. Fish looks underweight, but tough to tell in photos. Even at 80% relative weight, a fish of that length will go 9.15 lbs. If its not a DD, its really close.

Here's one that was 10 lbs on 2 separate scales. Full of eggs.

I am so sorry. Your fish weighs exactly #9 -15. So close.

It's a big fish man. It could go 10. You definitely scored a 10 on your fish handling for the pic. You didn't cover the fish with left hand and you didn't long arm the heck out of it. Cool shot!

Great fish but I don't see double digits.
Keep in mind the state record was only 25.5" long and weighed 18 pounds. I caught one several years ago that was 28.5" long and weighed 10.5. So length means very little in regards to weight. That fish doesn't have the girth to get into double digits.
