I don't know about anybody else, but I don't find them the least bit boring. I have read several of your articles, some more than once, and I find them packed with good info. Each time I go back and re-read one, I learn something that I missed the first time through. Keep 'em coming!

I sincerely appreciate people who have high-level knowledge about fishing techniques AND have a willingness to share such knowledge. I'm wondering what the genius who called Thad out wants to and/or has the ability to share with the rest of us that might be valuable.
Please keep 'em coming Mr. Rains!

Everyone,

Thanks for your support, but it is not needed. If I was going to be scared off or disheartened by comments from some people, I would not write any araticles. I am not a lilly, I am a pretty strong guy that lets everyone tell me what they think. Learn from your mistakes and I am glad many of you are enjoying the articles. I wrote them to try to help people with something I knew a little bit about. Glad some of you are putting them to use. THANKS AGAIN! Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Came across this article today, a pretty good explanation in the last few sentences of a game changer if you have time to read it.

Great article!

It is hard for me to pick one as all (well, almost all) of the aforementioned equipment and technology were significant advancements. The spot lock is definitely a major advancement, but without GPS would not be possible. If I had to pick one I would say GPS along with detailed lake maps.
