Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Vibe has become so popular because they are a great value. You get more options at their entry level price. I think they have become the Chevrolet of Kayaks.

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Agreed. More bang for your buck for a great looking yak. Maybe more like the Ford of kayaks. Better looking and quality overall than Chevy. banana

They are a very popular kayak around my neck of the woods.
I've talked to some guys at the launch at my local lake, and they have nothing but good things to say about them.
Good looking and totally functional in their layout......Most attractive thing about them is the price and bang for your buck.
The Vibe is on my radar for my next kayak, but I'm going to go with the 13'
I had a 13' Ride 135 in the past and regretted selling it, as it was a great boat.

Just one more cast!

the 130 is an incredible kayak, love mine! Now I gotta see if the new center hatch cover will fit my '17 model thumb

Congrats!
I like the look of it a lot! This appeared to be designed for bass fishing with many great features.
The hatches and storage options are great for bass fishing even when you need to bring a lot of tackle it will handle in an organized fashion no problem .
The flat deck and 33' beam will allow you to stand and sight fish at time if necessary. 11 foot long this will be pretty nimble for turning - again great for bass fishing!
It seems to also have a recess on the hull designed for mounting a transducer.
And the comfortable chair!

the 2019 front, center and rear hatches are supposed to interchange with older models. Vibe just can't keep them in stock on the website

Congrats on the kayak and welcome to the club.
You can not go wrong with the NRS Chinook pfd.
Floats me well and also very comfortable, does not limit my movement and not hot in the summer.
Now it is time to get out and have some fun, maybe catch a few fish as a bonus.

Thank you, should be here Tuesday. Cannot wait to get on the water.

No rods, no fishing. Just want to get accustomed to the Kayak...it’s all about the Vibe!

I've been fishing out of the 110 since they were introduced in 2017. Solid choice. If you have any concerns or questions feel free to message me or look me up on Facebook. If you happen to go to the VIBE website you'll see me there.

I did, I was trying to stay under a grand, though.
