Never knew the show existed until I started seeing the recent hype about its end. Doubt I would have watched if I knew about it, I'm 99.9% uninterested in anything shown on the major networks. I'll take a good old cowboy and indian shoot-em-up or noir crime movie any day.

The irony was that these geniuses could be utterly dumb about every day life things you should learn by the time you are 3 or 4. Of course, Howard's mom was priceless even though we never saw her.

Not a fan. I didnt understand its popularity at all. Ditto This Completely agree! And I would only tune in to Young Sheldon if/when they promote an episode where the little imp gets throat punched.

Big Bang was funny and topical and had great science/geek/nerd humor for the first half of its run. It was less funny in its latter half. Young Sheldon is great when he tangles with the preacher.

The number of scientific and public celebrities in it over the years may have set a record, I don't know. From the richest person in the country to the best known scientist in the world, they had a large number people you recognized.

I watched it a few times and it lacked one thing that held it back......it just wasnt funny to me. I know a lot of people liked it, but I thought it was more silly rather than funny.
