 Rebuild or replace?

Motor has 2 bad injectors. Motor is a 96 150 efi mercury. My mechanic told me injectors 1 and 3 are stuck open. I was just trying to figure out what would be the most cost effective approach to get my merc running again. Thanks for any help.

just replace the injectors?

If they tried to get you to replace a motor over stuck injectors run somewhere else quickly. You can just have those injectors replaced.

Have them all cleaned and flow tested first. That may be all they need. Whoever tests them should be able to tell you whether they need replacement.

Get injectors clean and motor checked out completely
