There is no 50" shaft, 45-52 and 60. Lots of places to shop but locally I recommend Shut Up and Fish in Lewisville. Talk to David there, very knowledgeable and honest. 972-822-9285

Best price I found was with Russell Marine Products. Great and quick service too. Contact him through a PM here to get a good deal.

My gen 1 cables broke after around 6 months of use. Im now starting month 25 and so far so good with the new improved cables. I bought them, vs having warranty replace the gen 1 cables with gen 1 cables. Also....glad for them extending the warranty to 3 years for us early adopters. Piece of mind till the Lowrance Ultex Killer comes out.

Edit. When my cables broke, I used the iPilot Link remote the rest of the day without loss of fishing time. Made it to weigh in.

I think ICAST 2019 is less than 2 months away. Unless I was getting a trolling motor for free from a manufacturer I don't think I would be buying a new one, I would get by with what I have and take a good hard look at what's up.

My Ultrex is a year and a half old, nothing, nada, has broke. I have hit stumps, rocks and have had fishing line wound up in it. Like a timex, takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

I have a new boat due in July, I am a hard core MK Ultrex guy but I am waiting to see what Lowrance and others have to offer, it would take a lot to get me to change but I am keeping an open mind, especially since my graphs will be Lowrance.
