The lake is in great shape right now. I primarily fish the South end all the way up to Pierces. The water clarity is very clean with temperatures starting at 77 in morning and end the afternoon hitting 80. The fish are starting to stage up on deeper Rock ledges as well as a great shallow bite. The bigger fish was caught in 14 ft. I like to throw C rig flukes in watermelon seed as well as the Jobaby jigs in camo. Falcon has never been the greatest top water bite until now. We threw spooks at them all day. The white bass will be mixed in with black bass. I also stay on the US side now. The fishing is just as good and a whole lot safer. I believe that you will be ok in Mexico, but Im just not willing to risk it. We managed to catch over 25 fish yesterday and our best 5 was between 17 and 20lbs. This number will increases as temps go up. I have available dates open for June and July. On Falcon and Fork. Give me a call to book a trip. 903-394-9982. I have access to lodging on Falcon

Looks like someone's having a fish fry. Enjoy!

Yes sir they are. We had lessons of setting the hook to late on a few from choking hooks to deep. Im just glad it wasnt the bigger fish ha. The main thing is that these boys went home happy, because it was their best day on the water.
