I am lining up folks who would like to take the fish caught by tournament participants who don't want to keep their fish. If you are interested or if you know someone who would be, please give me names and ph numbers. Thanks, If there are multiple folks who want the fish, we will take turns as participants turn in their fish. Note, usually there are more than just 5 per person since participants typically keep all the contenders and then cull the best 5 for weigh-in after they finish fishing. Thanks,Dennis

Great! Ha, I expect you to give it your best shot. I am registered so I can take my grandson out, but I won't compete since it wouldn't look good if I happened to win or place in the tournament I promoted. I'm pulling for you and my other TFF buddies and those who have learned the Mepps technique to make a good show.

Dennis if I can’t find the ramp I have no hope of finding the fish, but is the ramp you speak of where Alamo rd dead ends into the lake? I have never fished that lake before. Thanks in advance.

Dennis,
I cannot fish the tournament, because I will be on a cruise.
However, I would like to bid on the auction item to fish with you. I tried to send you a private PM, but it says your box is full.
When you can PM me and I will make a bid to fish with you.
Thanks,
Randy

randycw: If you send me a bid, I will start the bidding at the auction with that bid. If others can't make the auction but want to bid, you can either post it here or send me a PM. If a PM, I will post the bid here anonymously in case someone wants to raise it. I guess, if anyone who can't make the tournament wants to bid on one of the other items, make a bid here or on PM and I'll keep it posted. For any bids here, whatever the last bid is by midnight 5/17, I'll start bidding at auction with that bid. Dennis

Hi Mr. Christian;
My family, gown son and his wife, my wife, my daughter and her friend are headed down for our first ever fishing trip to Cedar Creek. Yesterday, my son and I ran across your post from 2012. Fantastic information, we immediately ordered a bunch of #4 and #2 Mepps spinners. We did not know about the tournament so maybe next time because of our airbnb dates. I wanted to ask you if the comments from 2012 haved changed much also with all the extra water and stained water where would you try? Hope there are some fish left after the tournament. haha.... we will be there from Sun thru wed.
thanks again!
Don E

Ducktracker Baits (Johnny Douglas) has just committed to donating twenty-four 3/4 oz slabs for the auction - a retail value of $72. Guide Loy Deason of Lake Livingston Guide Services uses them with his clients. Thanks a bunch, Johnny!

Hey Dennis...isn't it true, that the Aglia plain, is the most used lure, in the world. I noticed that some of the Alaskan fishing shows, the tmes they're fishing artificial, are always using the Aglia spinner, as a go to. French, isn't it?
