In general:
Unmodified wacky rig shines best around shallow grass during the spawn and post spawn when there are blue gills shallow. Also works great around and under docks and trees. Wherever there is bass fry and or blue gills

Texas rig best for pitching toward a specific target. Mid depths and shallow. Very versatile, but really shines prespawn mid depth, spawn shallow, summer deeper depths

Shaky head�great for dragging on gravel or shell bottom. Good choice at boat ramps or other concrete structure Slowly. Lower wind conditions
Good for pitching around docks and sparse timber. Any time of year, especially when the bite is slow.

Carolina rig�very versatile. Can modify the amount of weight depending on depth. Any time of year. Fish it with a heavier weight and deeper in winter and summer. Fish it with a lighter weight and shallower spring and fall

Texas rig will out fish any of those other rigs 365 days a year....
