To officially end the shallow spring crappie spawn for the year and to delay any further talk untill during the deep fall spawn.. 
The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?

Need to brush up on some of Bush Hog's dock shooting. The water has to come down some though.

Second that motion. With all the lakes close by at least 11 ft high to 16 ft high, it may be the fall spawn before we get to fish anyway. I hear that where ever you catch fish with eggs, means they are spawning there.

Need to brush up on some of Bush Hog's dock shooting. The water has to come down some though. The water's fine....we boated 83 crappie today.

They are on brush piles at Palestine, went this afternoon and caught 25 fairly quick.
