So I’m taking a friend of mine and his done fishing somewhere this weekend. Neither one of them have ever been. I’d love to put them on some sandies if possible just so we can have some action. Anyone know where I can find them? I’d like to stay within an hour of north Fort Worth

Not an hour north . But i think i made 3 cast in 2 hours with out a bite at monticello the other day. Must have caught 100. And left them biting. Tied up on the first bouey at the damn/spillway pipes casting at the rip rap. I believe they were stacked because sandlin was rising faster than monti causing current influx through the open gate and had a prodominently north wind blowing into the area. It was kind of scary to think my favorite lake for bass is taken over by whites. They used to not be in there.
