I have a 97 Stratos 201 PE.. I can't find aanual or specs.....does anyone have an idea of the capacity of the livewell?

I suspect that mine are just big enough to carry 5 fish comfortably, but I have no proof of that.

you could measure it, calculate the volume.

a cubic foot holds about 7.5 gallons.

That does not sound right. How many gallons of milk can you put in a 12”x12”x12” box? You thinking cubic yard?

I hate it too when guys just guess at #of gallons. And he was way off.....1 cubic foot = 7.48 gals

yeah I forgot to mention that I was adding a fish care product to the livewell during a tournament and the product says use one cap full for every 10 gallons of water ..... trying to figure out the right amount to add.....

That sound right for that boat.. I had a 93 Stratos it was right at 40 gal live well system.

it doesn't sound right at all, for sure.
Volume perception is a helluva thing. Our brains aren't good at it.
Seems like a 5gal bucket would be > than a 1' cube ... but the math tells a different story than your eyes.
Pi x Radius squared x height comes out to around 1,400 ci - a cubic foot is 1,728 ci.
