... with the fat girls again, this time a different species. I knew I had a good un but it took forty minutes of hand to hand combat to get her in the boat. Thanks for the comments, and it was a tussle for sure. It was the typical shoot jig under dock, line jump, set hook, and think your hung, then the line starts moving. It was pure luck that she swam straight out and didn't hang up in the support columns. Then the trolling motor went into action and the dance was on, moving her into open water. Oh yeah, found another good use for the anchor mode. It took awhile, but the 7 ftr. did its job. And I came real close to leaving my net at home... sure glad I didn't!
