Valve needs to be turned to recirculate, if it's on auto it will pump new in. Boats out of the water doesn't matter

Seems like we tried both and it didnt change anything. Is there a valve in livewell or bilge that needs to be pulled? I looked at owners manual says something about a valve being pulled but didnt see it in livewell.

LIVEWELL PUMP-OUT
Your new Ranger may be equipped with a livewell pump-out system. To use this pump out feature, put the
livewell control valve in the recirc position and pull out on the aerator spray head. Turn on the aerator and the water
in the well will be emptied. To fill the livewell and resume normal operation, push the aerator spray head in and set
the livewell valve to the auto position.

I read that but there isnt a valve to pull, water shooting in the livewell is coming straight out of a hole plumbed in livewell.

Im really not sure if water is pumping in or just Recirculating Because seems water pumping into is more than, pumping out. Its Emptying just takes it longer than should I believe.

The dealer didn't show the owner how to operate everything with the boat?

Anytime you are pumping water the right side livewell with the pull out valve AND the fixed outlet in the left side livewell both have water spraying out of them regardless of what setting the livewell main switch/valve is on. When you switch to Recirculate water does not enter the livewell from the outside. Leave it on Recirculate and pull the right side valve(spigot) out and you will see that water now pumping out of the transom outlet next to the bilge pump outlet thus pumping out the livewell. Yes you will still see the fixed left side inlet still spraying into the livewell until all the water is pumped out but the water is not coming from outside the livewell(lake water) unless you move switch to Fill so no additional water is actually being added. Leave the main livewell valve in the Recirculate position and the pump will be only drawing water from inside the livewell and no water will be flowing back in from the lake. I still move the main valve to the Empty position when I get off the lake because it seems to do a better job of completely draining the entire system. While actually its just one big livewell mine still has the center divider thus my description of left and right. This is how mine has always worked since new. Did I make this clear as mud? Have your buddy look at the following very good, simple but in-depth description of how the Flow-Rite system works at different settings and you can find the actual one for his boat: https://www.flow-rite.com/wp-content/uploads/documents/systems.pdf

For real. Dealer should have or should be explaining all the ins and out of the boat.

- Turn the livewell recirc pump to on (not auto)
- Pull straight out the place (valve) where the livewell is putting water into the livewell
- Should pump water out of the boat now (to help fill the weigh bag)
- Push it back in, now should be recirculating

Should work the same on a Ranger or a Skeeter

I think I got that right....
