It's been a Fun but often Frustrating Spring on Richland Chambers! FUN in that we're catching LOTS of fish and have had LOTS of Families and Fishermen on board. FRUSTRATING in that we book so many trips with Families and Kiddos and the weather has caused us to cancel more this Spring than we would like. We err on the side of caution and just don't put the boats on the Lake when we can't have a fun and safe outing. The older I get the less I like anything having to do with wind and rain!!! I'll take some nice cloud cover and a 10 MPH South Wind any day! We're finally catching limits of Whites most trips and getting a few nicer Hybrids. The fish have all but finished their Spawn and are still making their way to the Main Lake Points, Pelican Island, Roadbeds, etc. Not much Top Water yet, but it won't be long. All our fish are still coming on RSR Slabs with a Jig Teaser above them. We're now booking June & July and have plenty of Weekdays and a couple of Saturdays with a boat still open.
