With some scrap lumber, some recycled jugs & about $20 in new straps I made two of these fishing machines..

Just got back from Wally World with a new trolling motor since I could not remember what I've done with the two I got in the 80's..

Remember as soon as you put a motor on it.....yes even an electric trolling motor....it becomes a powerboat requiring you to have TX numbers from TPWD.
I got a ticket for this in college. I had an old OLD school aluminum shaft clunky trolling motor with the toggle switch on/off on the head loud trolling motor TIED to a cement mixing tub because the clamp bracket broke off and using the battery out of my truck. I was broke broke.... game warden gave me a ticket for an unregistered power boat.

I had a little Bass Hunter I had bought in 1980 before the motor rule applied to small craft and in the late 90's I was fishing Lake Bryan and the Game Warden set me straight on the new rule..
