I was fishing some skinny waters today from my kayak. I like to find one or two fish on the pile. They are usually going to be an aggressive fish as well as the larger fish than those in a group. This holds true to standing timber as well. I am fishing a hand tie jig. My bite ratio has gone up fishing a hand tie over plastic as when I get bit and miss the strike I simply relax and lower the jig. No need to reel up and straighten my jig keeping my bait in the water more. I would like to see your set up for kayak. A month ago I could careless about LiveScope but my friend took me with a guide and it was eye opening. Im toying with the idea to transfer from kayak to boat but not sure

Heck yeah!!!  $3k of electronics on a $1k kayak!!! I would roll that way!! Are you paddling or does the Ultrex hold you in place?? Little man had 2 kayaks but I'm not taking that bait! The Ranger is much nicer on an old man like me!!!

when you release fish, do they swim back to the tree or brush u caught from?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

when you release fish, do they swim back to the tree or brush u caught from? They swim back to the structure they came from. I will do a video on a release next time out.

Thank you, what battery do you use? Run time with live scope and size battery? I have a Hobie Outback 2019 with a lowrance 7ti and was think of a mobile setup to move from my Phoenix 618 to outback. I dont want to mount to my boat cause I want to sell it. Bought it to do the tournament deal buts thats been a bust, just looking to consider options, that live scope got me bad. Shut up and fish Ill be looking in to rotate arm setup, just need to weigh all affordable options. Use my lowrance 7ti and would like to have a decent 8-10 live scope screen to use.

I use a full size 29 series AGM. It lasts all day long. I also have a Nocqua lithium battery for the graph that I usually run the graph on starting out. It will last for about 6 hours and then I switch the graph over to the AGM. The AGM weighs around 60-80lb but the Hobie handles it well.

I always believed thats what they did!! would also love to see how they react when you pendulum swing a jig out, and it comes into thier area.
