Results Lake Whitney 5-5-2019

A nice day to fish even though the lake was about 7' high. The tournament went off well thanks to the members of the Burleson Bass club who assisted in getting everyone launched and parked. Thanks to Harbor Master for letting us use their facilities. The small bass were biting well but the larger fish have backed off some. But saying all that, some anglers will always find them and we had two large sacks come across the scales. The tournament was individual with a three fish limit.

I apologize if I misspelled your name.

Big Stringer
1. Dylan Biillman 16.12 lbs
2. Lowell Bennett 15.31
3. Shane Dupree 8.67
4. Ricky Hayes 8.58
5. Kenneth Fitch 6.56
6. Shaun Show 6.47

Big Bass
1. Dylan Billman 6.19 lbs
2. Shane Dupree 5.88
3. Lowell Bennett 5.86

Ladies Big Bass
1. Madeline Vandersaul 2.87 lbs

Lowell Bennet's son won the Jr. side of the tournament but I failed to get his name or his weight.

Lukerloser had a respectable 5.32 lbs for 10th place. He won a large bottle of TX blended whiskey for his effort. As a result of this nice prize the results were not available last night.

64 I believe. The high water scared some off which was a mistake as we had a nice day weather wise, a good tournament with more prizes than people that caught fish.

Thanks for the correction. I remember that now. Shaun has fished our tournament for many years and I remember him walking up with his son. Nice folks.
