Best brand are Leica . But extremely expensive.
Best power would be 8x42
That power in Nikon or Leupold would be a lot less money and still work well.

have had ziess, nikon, swarovski and vortex out here, I liked the ziess best. they were easier to focus to my vision, I have to wear bifocals.

these were all owners or guests. mine are el cheapo 50.00 10-50 bushnell. my bushnells would be just fine for a football game if that was all they were for, no big deal if they get lost or stolen.

Nikon Aculon A211, 10X50 power., very clear.
700 yds. Across the lake & detail is Excellant.

Bought them at Amazon for $100.00.
Liked them so much got a 2nd pair for the boat.

Try them if you don't like them send them back.

For the money I like Bushnell. I have a pair of 10X50 and 7X35
