Need a finder for the bow of my boat (17 foot Triton aluminum), would love to have a Livescan but can't bring my self to pay for the whole package. It would cost over 40% of what I have in the whole rig. Just want something that shows me depth and structure. It has Chips down imaging that is supposed to show a lot more area than the others without Chirp. Any comments?

I just bought a Hook2 9 for myself, just getting aquainted with it, but so far I really like it. I am such a cheapskate when it comes to buying electronics. Lots of fisherman on here, with a lot of experience that I am sure will chime in.
