Well it was 2009 when I caught a 72 lbs Flathead catfish in lake Bridgeport. Didn't get it certified then. But now I want to go back and eclipse the 51 lbs record.
Tomorrow will be the start of the chase.

I look forward to that picture! Ive been looking forward to flatheads since last year. This Spring hasnt been good to me yet. Dang rain changed everything by 8.5. Good luck to you!

Welllllllll. I didn't get what I went for. Was only able to get one 6 lbs Flatty. I am on a mission though. So I will keep trying. I also wanted to put my New ProAngler 7.6ft Rod and KastKing Reel to work. I will try to keep everyone posted. BTW. if you are chasing flatheads. Live perch is the way to go.

OK Guys. I have never went out looking to catch a big Flathead. Yes the 72 lbs'er I caught was Luck. I will need you guys help in guiding me to where and what I need to do.
my first question is: Is there a best time for the Big Flatty's to be caught?
BTW: This will be a CPR en devour.
