Summer before last my sister, BIL and two daughters came down. They wanted to take fish home and we had a huge fry at the house. Two boats, 6 fisherfolks and 266 in two days and THEY didn't clean fish. THAT was a back breaker!!!

Took a run out just to look at conditions yesterday!!! Still muddy around the 36 bridge. Proctor is dumping water into the Leon and Belton has the gates opened! Maybe the cats will bite!!

Maybe if the rain swings around us! That bridge is no place to be if the wind is rough. You're better off fishing up at Cedar Ridge.

That is insane! Im sure it was a lot of fun but cleaning all them fish by yourself. I think I would of been a bit cranky. Especially by the time I got thru the first hundred. Think im gonna try for crappie on Saturday and put some noodles out for cats on Sunday. My kids know how to fillet fish they just not real good at it. Nice story and thanks for sharing

I'm sure a few more could have been had. Water is getting higher, over 5' and climbing. Things don't look familiar any more. All kinds of trash in the water, you better be careful. All fish caught on Jerry's jigs. Dark golden one. What was brush in 12'-14' is now 17' and 19'. More rain on the way. Some of the fish were 6'-8' down on 18' brush.

Had my trip cut short today. Couple clients came up from Choke Canyon with some toothy critters to have shoulder mounts made....my wife no touchy!!!!!
