What is the thinking behind making it illegal to process fish on the water (that you are keeping of course). I'm guessing it's so the game warden can make sure you are taking legal size and species fish if he or she decides to check? Seems less cruel though to this hippie to go ahead and filet them right away.

Also what about a "shore lunch" as they call it. Is it legal to filet and cook up part of your catch to eat and then go fish the rest of the day?

Can you stop for lunch filet everything, then go fish again?

If you stop for a lakeside lunch and filet say 4 fish, but only cook and eat 3, and want to go fish the rest of the day are you now breaking the law carrying a raw filet in your cooler? If you explain to the warden that your eyes were bigger than your stomach will he still write you a ticket?

Well, if we are going to die anyway hopefully it will do so quickly and certainly so we don't suffer.

Ive long told my loved ones that, if Im ever on deaths doorstep, to just put me through the nearest wood chipper. Just like with your aquarium fish and the garbage disposal.

Accidentally killed a carp today. Dont know whether to cut it up and throw it in the lake, put it in a blender, flush it down the toilet, throw it on the boat ramp, use it for fertilizer, dig a hole on my property and bury it, or eat it.

None of the above, everyone know carp are best used as cut bait for catfish.

"This upset me quite a bit. I don't like killing fish (unless I'm going to eat them)."

So why didn't you eat this one? Why waste it?
