Had a few hours after work to get on Canyon today. The jerk bait bite was on fire today. Even the perch were trying to eat it! Lol
Caught a lot of undersize, but a few keepers mixed in on a gold/black pointer. All fish were in 4-6'.

Thanks it was a fun afternoon cheers
Didn't see another soul on the lake. This is my favorite time of year to fish Canyon, they should be up shallow for at least another month or so. Kinda surprised though, no sign of spawning fish yet mid lake.

Most if not all the fish have spawned. I caught a few off beds in 10-12' of water down by the dam 3 weeks ago, but we've been seeing fry all over the lake for several weeks now. Water temps in the 70's last week.

Get a drop shot or nail weighted trick worm and find a flat or point with some brush on it and you'll at least catch some off those 12 inchers.. My problems is I cant seem to get away from the lil ones kinda why I left Medina alone

Can add wacky rigged worm, soft plastics of all kinds, jerkbaits etc.
