I still watch the show after all these years.
I was wondering the other day what it will be like when Bill and Jimmy aren't on TV anymore.
I think Bill's nearly 80, Jimmy can't be too far behind.

They've been an inspiration and an institution.

"..The pleasantist angling is to see the fish
Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Bill is 74 I think and still kicking good . However when watching his shows I do notice he pants a lot like he's out of breathe too easy . Hank Parker is another one still kicking a lot and looks like he'll be good for another 20 yrs .

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

I tell you who is doing great for their age and that's Roland Martin. He is 80 now and just last year I watched him and Scott hop out of the boat and push a full blown tournament rigged bass boat through some backwaters just to access some good water. Hope I got that kinda energy and determination at 80!

My dad was on both Roland and Jimmy's shows back in the 90s and they both contributed to a ceremony honoring his accomplishments in 2017. They were both incredibly gracious and he got to see them again when we fished CAST for Kids in Waco a couple years ago.

I have never heard anything but good things about the "Ole Fish Kisser". I bet I never do, either. I have always wondered though, if he has ever hurt his back or neck. Whatever, it didn't hurt his career.

Be safe,
