Has anyone had a history of fishing recently at Oak Point Nature Preserve in Plano, TX? Did you catch any fish, and where on the pond?

Dude the pond can't be more than several acres, go fish it and see. There is some grass on one side of it and it's shallow on the far side.
I saw a kid catch a monster crappie on a crank bait there a few years ago.. so who knows what all is in there. Lots of turtles for sure and I can guarantee some bream, prob some bass, and I'd imagine there are some mudcats maybe channel cats.

Hi Kdub#1. Thanks for replying to my question. I actually have fished it 2 times. The 2nd time I saw this guy with like a 2 lb bass and he said he'd caught like 6 of those when he was there. Just curious to see if that was luck or if other people had the same experience too.

Has anybody gone to Frisco Commons Park after the Trout stocking there? I went yesterday and didn't seem to get a bite.

I have gone to ponds after trout stocking and I really never have any luck....I am not sure if trout really do that well in our ponds...whether it is because of temperature or not enough moving water?? not a big trout fisherman anyway
