Lots of posts in the thread so in case anyone missed it this little pond is marked with numerous signs "Catch and Release only"

Also again I was a long way (30-45 minutes from my truck and another about 20 to the house) so not sure how edible a uncooler-ed fish would be by then. What do you think? How long can a dead fish last without refrigeration before its not safe to eat?

My apologies, I didn't see that in the initial post (re:catch & release pond).

Laying the fish across the battery terminal will act like a defibrillator.

Well as crazy as this sounds this has never happened to me. I am the worst WORST bass fisher in the history of bass fishing. Finally now, at 40 years old, I'm getting the hang of it. I can count the number of Bass I've caught in my life on one hand... until this year. For some reason this year I'm doing well.

Point is, this is the first time this has happened to me.

I won't mention to you guys the number of pet aquarium fish that were nearly dead that I've put down the garbage disposal instead of flushing because it seemed faster and more humane then letting them die in raw sewage.

Dang man. And you had a few defending you on your original post. You just have to keep backing up to the fence dont you?
