After the divorce and moving into an apartment i no longer have a grill. So here is my Easter Sunday ribeye for one. Pan seared ribeye, spinach and brocolli florets with Kerrygold butter. And for those interested, its 100% Keto!

Impressed myself how well it turned out cooking it in a pan on stovetop. I think this bachelor thing is gonna be alright

Thanks for the well wishes guys.

I watched a Gordon Ramsey video on YouTube. Rubbed salt, pepper and a few other spices on both sides. Got the pan hot, grilled both sides for 4 minutes to 140 internal temp, pulled it and let it sit 5 minutes. It was a perfect med rare. Cooking is not something Im great at so I was thrilled at the results.

Might have to give that a try . . . . . . I've had my apartment almost a year and the only things I heat up are microwaved or frozen pizza in the oven.

That 100% Keto meal looks awesome

Hey Guys,
for apartment sized grilling, try a Power Smokeless Grill,,, great, small, effortless, and delivers a great product.

Nope don't sell these, however use one.

A large George Foreman grill can cook well enough to fool someone into thinking the steak was cooked on an outdoor grill

I ordered this for inside steaks and chops.

That type of CI will make a rockin good steak. Its actually a grill as drippings vaporize when they hit the hot pan and season the meat with smoke. Flip it over for grilled cheese sammiches.

That looks good. After my 2nd divorce, I lost over 100 pounds eating better, I think she was trying to kill me with her cooking.

They do really well under a broiler in an oven too.

Put the rack so that the meat will be as close to the heating element as possible

Turn the oven on broil and use something flameproof (like aluminum foil) to keep the door just barely propped open so that the elements stay on.

Season your steaks as you like and put them on the rack under the hot broiler (you can put a cookie sheet or something underneath to avoid drips if you want)

After about 4 minutes or so flip them and let them go another 3-4 minutes depending on size. They'll cook really, really fast compared to a grill (in my experience anyway)

It's kind of like turning your oven into a salamander grill like the fancy schmancy restaurants use.
