Laker...If I go, it will be Tuesday, but the winds look pretty bad, so wont make the call til Monday night.

If the Wednesday weather does not look too bad at 5:00 AM -- when I usually leave for the lake-- I plan to go for a few hours. I have yet to catch a sunfish this season. The water is cold and muddy.

Dats right ! Even a slow day at the lake is better than hearing the TV in the background.

I got up this morning to a thunderstorm watch, and 2.73 inches in the rain gage. I thought about it for about 10 seconds and decided not to go. I do not mind getting wet, but the 45 miinute drive to the lake through heavy metroplex traffic is dangerous in dry conditions.

Maybe next week. The sunfish should be moving into the shallows by then anyway. How is that for a rationalization?
