Last weekend night alone in my place. The GF moves in on Friday.

Feeling good about the changes. My new job is great! Topgolf is killer! She starts a new job tomorrow as a manager at a water company.

Our dogs get along great... as do we 95% of the time.

That all said I'm looking for some Pro tips on how to make the first month of living together go as smooth as possible.

Are you gonna marry her?

Its possible if not probable.

You have 30 days to set the bar as low as possible.
Don't treat her as a guest.
Make sure that she knows that you make the rules and you're in charge.
Scene control.
Oh...and don't share bank accounts.

first 2 weeks bring her flowers daily after work and tell her how much you appreciate her being there.

next 2 weeks walk in and tell her you are going fishing and she needs to clean the place up, don't tell her when you will be back either.


if the second 2 weeks don't go well resort to the first 2 week plan and hand in your man card.

She left her dog here. Theyve met many times. Makes the tactical execution of the move later this week a bit easier.

The dogs were very excited about my tree trimming.

Marriage is more of a "we get along 62% of the time." When it gets down to that level, pop the question.
Work on your ability to cry at will, it will save you more than you will know. In an emergency, rip out some nose hairs where she can't see you, that will get your eyes started leaking.

So when Friday rolls around leave a note on the kitchen counter that you went fishing. If she moves in by herself great, if not then its an easy out.

Always take a dump with the door open while discussing your feelings. She will learn to hate talking about feelings.

Just make sure that she knows who rules the roost....first time she sees you with your murse, she'll fully understand.
