Is anyone using bradided lines on baitcasters and if so are you which line and are you experiencing line digging into itself when catching large fish. I have tried it years ago with the older type braides and had a lot of line digging into itself when catching a fish. I know the new lines are more round and should not dig into themsels as much but would like some experienced advice. for spinning reels I currently use 832 in 20#

Done it for years no issues use larger test that will stop it Power Pro - Slick- 832 what I have usually 50.

40 or 50 lb J Braid is what I�ve gone to. I really don�t like braid but for frog fishing it a must. IMO. I also use it jig fishing sometimes. Carolina rig 40 lb j braid with a fluorocarbon leader. Don�t have any issues really with it digging in the spool. But it will wrap around the end of your rod! Frustrating!!!

I use 30, 40 or 50lb braid on most of my baitcasters. It will dig in on bigger fish, but not too bad. You just have to pull it out next cast.

I don't have a ton of experience trying different brands.... It lasts so long.

Regular PowerPro is better at not digging in, but it's noisy and more stiff.

The SpyderWire Stealth I bought is much softer and quieter, but digs in quite a bit more.

I've found that digging in isn't a problem with 40# and over. 30# and under it digs in pretty easily.

Have braid as mainline on every rod
Tried several braids and keep going back to regular Power Pro (also like the super slick, but it�s pricier)

When it�s fresh out of the package, it can dig in on bigger fish. But it�s never caused an issue where I had to cut it out
