I use Berkley Fireline in 14lb and the leader is Pline in 12lb.....
I know it may be heavy for some but the last thing on my mind after setting the hook is my line breaking.....
I'm a BIG fish hunter....

I guess crappie are not as line shy as most think. Thanks SK That's one of the many myths associated around crappie fishn..... I've seen crappie caught with cane poles and kite string with a big weight just above the big hook..... There's so much false info out here that most think crappie are geniuses...... It's A Fish....LOL
