I've been wanting to take the kayak out below Denison Dam for a while now, but they've been generating water consistently for a while now. I've put in right at the dam before, and know that when they're generating it gets tough to manage in a kayak. I've thought about going down to Carpenters Bluff (never been), but they're scheduled to generate water tomorrow.

Has anybody put in a kayak down at Carpenters Bluff while the dam was generating before? How hard is it to navigate in a kayak?
