Needing information on a boat ramp on Tawakoni. I see on google maps that there seems to be a boat ramp off of FM road 1475 which is off of hwy 47. Can someone tell me if this boat ramp is useable? Planning on making a trip to Tawakoni this Friday, looking at the weather forecast it shows winds to be 20 plus so I'm looking for a ramp to use on the North side of lake on the Cedar Cove side so I don't have to cross lake and hopefully stay of out the major wind. I went there last year with that type of winds and that lake was a monster it looked like ocean swells. If you know of any ramps on that side of lake I would appreciate any info I know nothing about the lake area.

No public access to that ramp. That is the old Thousand Trails place. Been shut down to the public for years.
