Sunday began with a stout breeze and me convincing my son it would be better to wait to go fishing until noon lol
He wasn�t thrilled about that idea but took it in stride. We loaded the kayaks at noon and off we went. Water was stained obviously from the previous day�s rain. He tied on a black and blue chatterbait. I made the mistake of telling him $1 for first fish and $1 for the biggest. Oooops lol
After a couple hours my phone rings and I can hear him shaking through the phone.....ddddaaaaad. Geeeet over here. My first thought was he fell in until he told me he just caught the biggest bass of his young fishing career. I double timed it lol.

This is exactly what 100% pure joy looks like! So proud of him.

If you are interested i'd be happy to let you know how I did it. He's a big kid. 6'5" 200# and said he set the hook and caught that bass standing up. So I guess they work
