Now we are getting somewhere. The way this reads in one breath tournaments are not an interest and in another there is an in ya window about the changes in the sport due to technology.

There has been little by little more sharing from what anglers are seeing that use LS. I'll say this. Many of the things we've been doing were incorrect to some degree. Yes we caught fish but spooked or didn't attract a bite more times than not. Once the pour attitude of change subsides there will be a degree of sharing that will help everyone get more bites. For instance I will never again use any thing less than a 10' rod in 12' of water or less. The fish spook easily. There are many new things that are being shared and will benifit those with or without the upgraded electronics. I'll be open ears to the guy seeing behavior and patterns live before the guy speculating.

David Zoeller was last nights door prize winner of the Rapala knife Cabelas donated.

Thanks for the monthly door prizes and the accommodations to have our meeting and share the sport of crappie angling.

While if seems to not be a problem for me to not be confused by the names I feel due to the responses that it may be confusing to some. Maybe our name is to similar to CAT. What would be an acceptable name. I don't want a city name or the word club in the name. Would North Texas Crappie Anglers work?

I will start a new post for suggestions.

And if anyone is confused about my feelings about LIVESCOPE I'm in love with it and want to share what I learn with everyone. It will truly change the way I fish in the future.

I'm curious why the distance reading in the upper left corner changes but it looks like you are looking at the same place - the image doesn't appear to change other than seeing the fish move around.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Cabela's thanks you for the recognition. We try to have a quality door prize for CAT meetings held at the Allen store.

I'm confused! What happened to all the hoopla about this new club will be run by members, not a board? I think you can forget all of what you have read so far. The above statement where Earnest said "the reason I formed this club" how many members make up " I" ? It seems to me that the first meeting and BBQ dinner should be where all of the organizational items would be discussed. But, as I read what has been posted it's a done deal and the members had no input. Seems odd to me.

Nothing has been decided except the first meeting time and place. There will be a few advisers chosen at the meeting, Any suggestions made by the advisers will be voted on by the membership. Only when approved by the membership will they be acted on.

This is not the EEP crappie club. It's the members club. I was just asked to get it started. The dues will be minimal, just enough to cover the clubs costs. We need a web site, a facebook site and a few things like that. If we outgrow the free room at Marshall's we will need to rent space at the library. Hopefully this will satisfy the doubters out there.

Looking forward to seeing the interested fisherpersons on the 23rd. (hows that for being politically correct)

All the brush hanging in the slip was confusing the transducer. The actual water depth is 25'.
