I fished the smaller lake Sunday 04/07 and had a great day throwing a frog as far back in the flooded slop as you could. Didn't start until about 2, but it was overcast all day. Saw a lot of bucks cruising. Could get them to hit a fluke and senko, but, no hookups. Deeper points caught a few on crankbait. I have not fished the larger lake this year, I only go up once or twice a year.

The larger lake has been good on a C rig along the trees. Earliest I have fished this year, usually wait to go up there when its warm and I know they have moved off. As soon as they move off the bank, they get deep pretty quick , both bodies of water are usually really clear.
Lots of smaller fish in the lakes from my experience. With limited trips, largest from each lake has been around 4 lbs. But not to hard to catch numbers.
