Can anyone tell me of a good tackle shop to visit when I head to the coast on Thursday? I enjoy fly fishing the most if there is a good one that has a fly section. From googling, I didn't find a specific fly shop down there.

Dont know of any fly shops, Id call fishing tackle unlimited and see if they can put you on the right track

I think FTU has a fly shop. Cabelas might have one, too. I cant remember both are on 45.Not sure about anything if youre traveling down 87.

No real tackle shops on the Peninsula. Gulf Coast market has a small selection, but not much more than that other than Parkers Lumber.

The "Big Store" (actual name) on Crystal Beach sells some tackle. It may all be for Salt Water.

+1 on all the above comments .Get anything you need before you get there. Tha Big Store has a very limited selection of over priced tackle.
