Chatted with Lowrance today. Software patch in work but no release date yet.

The fixed update was put on the Lowrance site today, guys said it takes the satellites some time to lock on; but it will work.

Not on mine. I have traded probably 20 emails with Lowrance on this. Last one they told me to do the regular software update first. I tried that but since it did not give me a upgrade option I assume I have the latest. I show satellites and all seems fine just no time and date. I just want time to display once again on the Data Overlay. I am really getting fed up with Lowrance on this one.

Your date & time might be set to global. Go to the satellite page and make sure its set to local, this unit. Might also enable WAAS while in there.

Time displays fine on UTC but not local. Now I have traded 30+ emails with Lowrance techs. WAAS was not enabled but I did enable and still nothing. Not sure what it does. Nothing the techs at Lowrance have recommended seem to be working. They seem to be pretty incompetent. They have suggested menu paths that don't even apply to my units.
