Trying to figure out how to post pics, so I thought I'd do a little review on this net. Although it was released last year, I can't find one consumer review...just a couple of promotional vids. My situation is a bit different than bank fishing...I fish off the back of my boat at Ray Hubbard in 25 ft, and mostly alone, so landing good sized buff and carp is a bit challenging, especially since the net needs to go under the rail. This net makes it a ton easier. I can sit on the cockpit bench managing the fish with one hand, and kind of "spatula" the fish into the net. Once netted, I can release the rod, and use the yoke handle (barely see it in the bottom of the pic) to pull the fish into the boat. I can quickly take the rig out, and slide the fish back into the water. I bought the middle size hoop...21 X 24, without the extension (and I guess the light). At 48 inches, it's fine for my case, but I'm not sure if bankers wouldn't need the telescoping feature on the pricier model.

Anyway, these are 20 % off at Bass Pro/Cabela's thru April 14. Mine cost $77 with tax.

Sweet! I didn't see any reviews for it either but it looked pretty interesting. Glad it's working out for you!

Glad I had my long hemos...this buff got hooked a little deep, but the extraction was clean.

That can happen when they're feeding voraciously, or when they bite so subtly that you don't know they're on until they've worked it deep into their mouths. Buffalo don't eject baits like carp do. Carp suck and blow food and debris out of their mouth, while Buffalo suck food and debris into their mouth and expel debris out of their gills. The best way to prevent these "blowouts" or deep hooking is to use shorter rigs, I prefer 6" and under, typically mine are 3-4"

Looks like that net is putting in work for ya! I might have to get one of those myself for places that I can't use my Euro style nets

Thanks...I'll shorten 'em up. This net is great for my boat....the net's shape, the yoke handle, and there's a big ring underneath to push them out.
