I have a question about my lower unit on my 2000 model Mercury 50HP EPTO 2-Stroke.

Just bought the boat and did all the required maintenance (carb kits, plugs, fuel and oils changed, and impeller).

I changed the impeller and both internal gaskets.

When running it with muffs on, it is peeing properly out of the tell-tale hole, but I see water draining out of three holes in the lower unit...they appear to be there from the factory, but I don�t know if they are supposed to be draining water.

Should this be happening?
