Fished LHL the last couple days and was impressed with the #'s of reds. With water levels 1 ft above predicted and cloudy/windy conditions I knew wading would be tough. As I entered the first lake spooked 20+ reds in a pod as the wind blew me over them.. Dropped anchor and set up tying on the chartruse/white clouser. 20 min. later the sun popped and started seeing cruising fish at 40 ft. Released several thru the day including my PB at 271/2 "..

With the weather coming in this morn decided to take a beak and get back on em tomorrow.. Sure do hope water levels return to normal. Cheers [Linked Image]

Been fishing around lighthouse a lot lately. It's funny how you never can really fish the same water twice with all the tide changes and fish moving. LHL and Brown & Root are probably some of my favorite places around Port A.

Stout redfish. Had to be fun. Sounds like an unforgettable day. Thanks for sharing.
