Anyone else fishing out of Buck Creek yesterday? I arrived at noon and there weren't many trucks in the lot. When I returned at 6 pm I noticed a couple of parking spots with a lot of window glass on the ground. Anyone else see anything? I hope it was something else. I've never experienced any issues in 15+ years there.

BTW, I caught everything on bladed baits yesterday except for one that I followed up one that didn't hook up on spinnerbait. Almost all of the bites were about 3' or so where you just lost sight of the bottom. When the wind switched out of the NE it shut the bite down. Warmest water I fished was 64.

Man, I hope not... like you, I've never had an issue out there... except when I locked my own keys in my truck...good times!! Thank you for the report, too. I will be out there saturday if the weather will allow it.

Those were my shattered dreams of a 15lb bass.

Kidding aside, I hope that nobody was broken into. Did you pass the message along to the Parks office?

I didn't notify anyone since I am not sure anything happened. However, I bet that parkcop will see the post and know what's up.

I like Buck Creek, but you have to be a mountain climber to get to and from the parking lot...

Yeah there was one yesterday. When we pulled off the water about 1pm a F-250 had the drivers window smashed. We had noticed a boat fishing the bridge that matched the trailer and waved the owner over and broke the news to him. All the owner said was missing was a knife and some change. There was a $250 radar detector on the dash and they didnt touch it. We looked at all the other trucks and all the others were good. Not sure if he reported it or not.

When I left there around 5:45. I did notice a car leaving the parking lot. When I made eye contact, they just had that "up to no good" look and drove off. They were in a 4 door small dark car, appeared to be Hispanic. Don't know if they did, or did not do anything, but just got that uneasy feeling, the way they scurried off when I came up to the top lot to get my truck. F'N parasites who ever they are. From now own, the pistol goes with me, not in the truck.

I launched there Saturday with a bunch of other people with no issues other than bank fisherman fishing one of the launch ramps and refusing to move so boats could get in and out.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

A Rat-L-Trap thrown across his line(s) will take care of that problem...
