I have a buddy that want o go to Lewisville but I was wondering if after that cold front if the fish would be hitting? What type of baits would you throw? General tips welcome. I know you probably need more information but I am just looking for general tips. Thank you in advance!

When?
Tomorrow morning may be tough, but Wednesday low is mid 60s. Thursday and Friday should be good. Saturday and Sunday are bring some weather, that will be great fishing if the wind isn't brutal.
Bass started moving up before the front, They should be close enough to come back quickly. As long as there are clouds out, they will bite.
Early spring I go weightless whenever possible. Sometimes even my bag is weightless.....

Woke up this morning
Got yourself a gun....

It's against the rules. They are in a "no info" period...

Lew is on FIRE!!!! Good luck you should be concentrating on those big girls moving in to do their dance while the bucks are flooded by the hundreds in some of those isolated back water areas. Highest water temps we have discovered are tipping 76 degrees while the main lake areas are 63.5 - Biggest one went for 7.1 wink

I was all over that lake 1.5 weeks ago. 61 was the warmest h2o I found. This isn't the only lake I've seen much warmer temps posted than what I've actually found. My temp reader must be busted. hmmm The fishing is good though.

Theyre going up in the warm water waste treatment arms of the lake. There are three of those on the reservoir.

^^^what Poke said.

Also, your temps might be off if all you could find was 55. Main lake was a hair over 60 for me and that was over a week ago. Zero chance its backed down to 55 with a couple of cold nights. MAYBE by the damn but thats about it.

If you can't find em wind em.

Coves in old lake were max 61 on Sunday. Main lake was 56-58. That cold north wind did cool it down a bit.
