Got some time off coming and was looking to get my wife on some striper fishing. What water temps are ya'll seeing? Not really looking for giants, just looking to have a fun couple days and put some fish in the freezer. Any help would be appreciated.

Unstable to say the least ! Some areas are static @ 55, others are colder. You and your bride might be inclined to fish at night. I know for a fact the stripes are biting then. Maybe one of the PK gurus will chime in with some better intel.

At night would one fish the north side or south side of the lake? Live Bait? Dead sticking?

If I was night fishing, I would fish mid lake, Broadway area, south. Look for docks that have lights out over the water. Use either bait or artificial. Approach the docks as quiet as possible and throw to the lights.

I found 56-63 degree water temp yesterday. I was throwing a top water spook and had striper blowing up on it early morning midlake about 100 feet off a deep rock point
