I am thinking the rains the last couple of years have improved the crappie numbers for PK. Have several people telling me they are catching good numbers there.

We caught several while bass fishing this past weekend. And had a ton of crappie bites.

Wow! Tom that is a lot of crappie for PK. I scouted yesterday down lake and found only LM bass shallow. Saw some nice schools of "something" that I will test with some minnows later today. Saw water temps of 64-67 thanks to the rain. Lake is slightly stained. We won't be seeing filleted sandbass remains in 35 feet of water this year. It won't be long now until fishing at Pk is off the chart.
Best day I ever got at PK was 20 but that was with another fisherman. Maybe Randy Wood caught more than 17, but not many could say they have bested 17 at PK, especially after the Golden Algae days.
